Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with P Fitzmayes Designs. Yarn and finished handmade items are available for delivery to the United Kingdom, United States and European Union. PDF patterns are available through this website to customers with a UK billing address only. Customers outside the UK can purchase available patterns from our Etsy shop. The postal shipping information below applies to yarn and finished handmade items. Crochet PDF patterns are delivered digitally and do not require postal shipping. If your order contains both physical items and PDF patterns, only the physical items are shipped by post.

Order Processing

All physical orders are dispatched from River View, Kelton, United Kingdom.

Yarn orders are dispatched within 1 business day (excluding holidays). Handmade Jasmine scarves are available made to order and dispatched within 3 business days. Dispatch times for other handmade items are stated on their product pages.

Orders placed after noon or on weekends and holidays may begin processing the next business day.

You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships, if the shipping method supports it.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

UK Standard orders, including orders eligible for free Standard delivery, are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48. UK Express orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24. Physical orders to the European Union and United States are sent using Royal Mail international services. Our order-processing time is separate from the carrier's delivery time. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and begin once your order ships. They may be affected by carrier delays, weather, or other events outside our control.

Shipping costs

We use flat shipping rates for physical orders. UK Standard delivery is £4.99, with free Standard delivery on orders of £50 or more. UK Express delivery is £6.99. Delivery to European Union destinations is £14.99 GBP, and delivery to the United States is £25.99 GBP, converted to your checkout currency where applicable. Checkout displays the delivery charge in your selected checkout currency before you place your order. PDF-only orders have no postal shipping charge.

United States delivery

For physical orders shipped to the United States, we purchase Royal Mail duties-paid postage and pay the duties and fees quoted when buying the label. The delivery charge is £25.99 GBP, converted to your checkout currency where applicable. If our postage, duties and fees exceed this delivery charge, we absorb the difference and will not ask you for an additional delivery payment after purchase.

European Union delivery

For physical orders sent to the European Union, we do not prepay import charges through the postal service. Recipients pay any import charges due before or at delivery. Customs processing may affect delivery times.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, we'll email you a confirmation with a tracking number and link, if applicable. Please note tracking information may take time to update after you receive it.

Shipping destinations

We ship yarn and finished handmade items to the United Kingdom, United States and all 27 European Union countries. PDF purchases through this website require a UK billing address. Outside the UK, please visit our Etsy shop for available PDF patterns. If a cart contains PDF patterns and has a non-UK billing address, remove the PDF patterns to continue purchasing physical items through this website.

Address accuracy

Please check your shipping address at checkout. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to correct it.

Lost, damaged, or delayed packages

If your order is lost, damaged, or delayed, contact us and we will help you work with the carrier.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Need to change or cancel your order? Contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to accommodate changes before your order ships, but once it's in transit we're unable to modify it. Refunds for cancelled or delayed orders will be processed promptly to the original payment method where possible.
